Willie Van Brackle

Willie H. VanBrackle, Jr., 61 of Quakertown, formerly of Easton, died in St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne. He was the husband of Kathy R. Hart VanBrackle. Willie was the son of Willie H., Sr and Irene VanHorn Van Brackle. He was a mail carrier for the Easton Post Office before retiring in 2004. Willie was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the Easton American Legion. He was pPast Master of the Dallas Lafayette #399 F&AM in Easton and a Scout Master of Troop 74 in Wrightsville, PA. Willie was also a member of the Delaware Valley German Shepherd Dog Club. In addtition to his wife and parents he is survived by a son Sr. Airman Willie H.E. VanBrackle of Holloman AFB; three daughters, Leanne wife of Karl Menear of Sciota, Victoria wife of William Levens of Bangor and Angela VanBrackle of Coatesville; two brothers, Joseph and wife Sue of Northampton and Richard and wife Joyce of Wind Gap and companion John Fucinel; nine grandchildren. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday at 11 am in the C.R. Sturnk Funeral Home, Inc 821 W Broad St. Quakertown PA. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions to Fox Chase Cancer Center, Office of Institutional Advancement, 333 Cottman Ave., Philadelphia, PA, 19111 or to the Bucks County Council Boy Scouts of America, One Scout Way, Doylestown PA 18901-4915.
